Jacqueline Whetsell

Midlands Middle College
West Columbia, SC
Jacqueline Whetsell is a science educator in her 14th year of teaching. She has taught high school most of this time, with a brief foray into middle school. She is passionate about helping students unearth their curiosity and love of discovery by including as much hands-on learning as possible. Jacqueline has been able to share her love of science through her instruction in forensic science, biology, physical science, and chemistry. While she has taught in various school settings, her heart and excitement are in working with students who believe they are not good at science and showing them that they are, in fact, scientists. Jacqueline spends her evenings and weekends with her high school sweetheart, now husband, and her two sons.
