Good Earth to you all. I hope my words find you well and happily engaged in your scholarly pursuits.

I write today to reflect on the upcoming NSHSS Scholar’s Day celebration. I look forward each year to meeting our NSHSS members in attendance. They are the bright lights of our future. Youth represent 50% of the world population… and 100% of our future.

In the well-educated youth of the world rests the realistic hope of securing for all mankind “A New World” that is sustainable and where people live in Harmony with each other… and in Harmony with the Earth. When I see the young faces at Scholar’s Day, I feel this hope in my heart.

I very much look forward to seeing our NSHSS Scholars, Educators of Distinction and their guests soon.
