From NSHSS Semester at Sea 2012 scholarship winner Yadhu Dhital: I had a wonderful experience which greatly impacted my life. I got to know many countries, diverse people, and their unique cultures from all around the world. Everything related to Semester At Sea is just amazing. Studying in the ship while it is rocking was always a great time and mind-blowing experience. It was very easy to make friends in the ship and listening and sharing cultures, stories, and educations. Wandering through large cities and sleeping in completely strange places in small villages also provided unforgettable moments. Every day was a new adventure, being a different country each week and eating local food, meeting and talking with new people from new places. I strongly encourage all students to experience such moments that I had experienced in Fall 2012.
