Have dreams of being a filmmaker some day? While many people consider becoming a director or actor, there are many facets of film like cinematography, sound design, and lighting. Whatever your passion is, a degree in film is a great way for anyone interested in filmmaking to get a taste of what will be the best focus for them. Like any other degree, though, a film degree is expensive, so it’s a good idea to start looking for film scholarships in high school.
NSHSS is proud to offer three film scholarships for high school students through the 2019 NSHSS video competition. We’re open to your submissions whether filmmaking is a hobby or a career pursuit. With this film scholarship, you’ll have the opportunity to express yourself through film with an artistic representation of yourself or your worldview.
