On Saturday, October 23, 2021, our partner, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, helped us host an exciting two-and-a-half-hour event. The fully virtual event kicked off with interactive workshops and ended with a "No More Cancer" Rally, where the NSHSS community raised over $1,100 for cancer research.
During this free online event, NSHSS audiences learned about:
Amy Junge has served in the nonprofit sector for over 30 years and currently works for ALSAC St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as a Philanthropic Advisor in their Donor Experience Division. Amy is passionately committed to meaningful engagement and creating authentic, impactful philanthropic experiences that bring out our best and encourage healthy culture and community. Amy has two children in high school and currently lives in the Chicago land area.
Beth Perkins has worked in the Healthcare nonprofit sector for over 30 years. She has been with ALSAC for over 13 years in several different fundraising roles. She is currently Principal Advisor, Partnership Development & Stewardship in their Donor Experience Division. Beth is passionate about the St. Jude mission and is dedicated to helping grow long-term, meaningful partnerships. She lives in Memphis, has two adult children and two rescue dogs.
Drew Phillips has been with ALSAC since 2011 and has supported St. Jude’s global work since 2013. During his time at ALSAC/St. Jude he has been instrumental in the expansion of St. Jude’s efforts to include foundations world-wide and the expansion of support services that ALSAC provides. He pioneered facilitating educational opportunities both virtually and in-person on the St. Jude campus for St. Jude Global Alliance foundations. Drew feels that his greatest reward is to witness the success of others supporting the battle against childhood cancer.
Bebe joined the ALSAC team this past June as a Development Representative for the NYC office. A native Memphian, Bebe grew up with St. Jude right in her backyard and always knew she wanted to get more involved with the organization. As a junior at Fordham University, she began interning for the ALSAC NYC office until she graduated in Spring of 2020. Having spent the last year working in Memphis, Bebe is so excited to be back in NYC and once again working to raise awareness for St. Jude’s life-saving mission. Bebe leads St. Jude’s collegiate clubs and sororities in the NYC area, multiple St. Jude Walk/Runs, the Tri-State St. Jude Heroes program, and the St. Jude Leadership Society – NYC Cohort.
